Experience & Background

Before becoming a restaurant strategist, I spent over 18 years as owner-operator of two cafés in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. I’ve lived in seven countries and traveled to more than sixty. Both experiences formed a holistic, worldly approach to hospitality, which connects people across cultures.

I hold a BA in Economics from The College of Wooster, and I’m a member of the Food Consultants Group, a network of global food and beverage professionals.

I started The Restaurant Whisper podcast in 2020. I shared insights and strategies for independent restaurant owners—part of my ongoing commitment to support this industry through education and storytelling.
